I want to mention that I am NOT getting paid to write this blog so you can trust that these are my honest opinions. I have personally stayed at this resort and experienced it like a normal guest. While there, I was fortunate enough to meet with the some of the members of the wedding team and experience a mock ceremony and reception. Keep scrolling to see photos from that special day.
Location
Where exactly is this place? You may have heard of Cancun (unless you have been living under a rock), but where exactly is Riviera Cancun? It is just south of the Cancun International airport, about 10 minute drive. You don’t have to spend hours driving from the airport to get to your hotel. This resort is still very close to all of the main attractions that you may be thinking about planning during your stay.
Unmatched Scenery and Venues
There are multiple on site locations that can be turned into your dreamy backdrop. From beachfront nuptials to a ballroom affair. Each spot is meticulously designed to create an experience for you and your guests.
The wedding team at Breathless Riviera came together and designed a beautiful mock ceremony and reception on the rooftop. (check out the first picture to see where the rooftop is overlooking the pool.) All of the flowers were hand place!. Each reception table had its own decor theme to show different styles and how easy it can be to create a space that reflects the couple. A cute idea: every guest had a glass of champagne with their table number on it.
Side note: there is no elevator to get to this rooftop so keep in mind any guests travelling that need mobility assistance. Also shout out to the staff for having to carry everything up those stairs!

One thing that I found a bit unusual, was the shower was located in the middle of the room. It had glass walls on 3 sides with the option to move a curtain on one side. BUT if you have non-couple guests staying in a room together, this is definitely something to note. The shower is not private. Of course you can take turns sitting in the main area while the other person is showering – there is plenty of seating besides the bed plus the balcony!
For those seeking an extra touch of luxury, the xhale Club suites provide exclusive amenities such as personalized check-in, daily continental breakfast service, and access to private lounges and pools. Trust me, it is worth the upgrade to the xhale Club!
